Santa Monica College Police Department investigating incident

On Friday afternoon, June 30th approximately around 12:30 pm pst, a person advised SMCPD that he needed assistance, while the subject and SMCPD were attempting to locate one another, SMCPD bicycle units observed the subject on campus being suspicious with fishing poles as well as one of the officers had said they saw “a knife on the person.” They stopped the individual for being suspicious then the individual flagged

down officers stating that he had called them. The individual then talked to the officers about an ongoing family conflict happening on social media via Facebook, the victim is scared for their life because the other family member is threatening to kill them.
