Women Arrested for Domestic Violence

Late Tuesday morning, Santa Monica Police received reports of a domestic issue on the 1300 block of 14th Street, located between Pico and Michigan in the Pico neighborhood of Santa Monica. Santa Monica Fire was also called out to the scene for a male who reportedly was suffering from a head injury of some sort but was not transported. The female suspect was also checked out by firefighters and not transported to a hospital. The female suspect was taken into SMPD custody and booked at Santa Monica Jail under 273.5 - Domestic Violence of the California Penal Code. The identity of the suspect has not been released publicly.
